1 Days (Arrival Leh)
Arrival Leh by morning flight and transfer to the hotel. Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). In the late afternoon visit the City Centre for an orientation walk in Leh Bazaar, followed by a visit to Shanti Stupa.
2 Days (Leh – Alchi)
Morning after breakfast leave for Alchi monastery known as alchi choskor is the only monastery in the ladakh on flat ground on the way visit bazgo castle lie on the right bank of the Indus by the lunch time we reach Alchi, afternoon visit the alchi monastery and explore the nature beauty of Alchi village overnight at hotel / guest house.
3 Days (Alchi – Lamayur – Leh)
Early breakfast and then leave Alchi and continue drive to lamayuru via khalsti passport checking point from here another 22 kms drive will take us to lamayuru the oldst spectularly set lamayuru monastery founded in the 10th century visit the monastery. Late afternoon drive back to leh which is 4/5 hours drive overnight at hotel.
4 Days (Leh to Nubra Valley (125 kms/5-6 hrs approx one way))
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley (Known as the Valley of Flowers and the warmest region in Ladakh) via Khardungla pass. This road is considered to be the highest motorable road of the world. En route, admire the spectacular views of the never ending snow-capped mountain ranges around Khardungla Pass (18,390 feet) After spending some time at Khardungla, proceed to Nubra. After Hotel check-in, enjoy Camel Safari in the evening. Overnight stay in Nubra
5 Days (Nubra to Pangong via Shyok (100 kms/5-6 hrs approx one way))
We will start the day following the same route towards Leh till we reach Khalsar. From the Agyam bridge, we will take the left route which leads us to the villages of Shyok and Durbuk. The route is scarcely used for commuting so you will not find any heavy traffic on any day. Some patches are bad but the experience will be great. The road after Shyok is good but very steep. After Durbuk, take left towards Tangtse and follow the traditional route. Drive further to Pangong Lake one of the largest and most beautiful natural brackish lakes in the Himalayas. Situated at 14000 ft, more than half of the lake is within Chinese Territory and only one third part lies in India. Explore the lake area, might catch some rare wildlife.
6 Days (Pangong Lake to Leh (140 kms/5-6 hrs approx one way))
After breakfast, travel back to Leh. En route take a short halt at Changla Pass to enjoy a cup of hot steaming tea. Visit Hemis Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace and return back to Leh. Overnight stay in Leh
7 Days (Leh- Departure)
Early morning depart to leh airpot for onward destination.
